If you have a card idea and don't want to be stifled by templates or character limits, you can create your own card. The open upload option gives you the creative freedom to craft unique stationery. Two card sizes are available. Choose a 4" x 6" or 5" x 7" sized horizontal, landscape-oriented, flat card. For higher versatility, the paper cards have a postcard-style design so that you can use them for event invitations, RSVP's, thank you cards, save the dates, Christmas holiday cards, and more. Select a high-quality .JPEG or .PDF file to upload to the front of the card. This can be a custom design, a piece of artwork, photo, or photo collage. The chosen image file needs a resolution that meets the minimum and maximum listed to ensure the printed result is in sharp focus without blurriness or pixelation. After the image is uploaded, a preview lets you adjust it to fill the space properly. Here, cut and bleed lines guide you and prevent important details from being cut off in production. If an important part of the design or image falls outside the safe zone, there is no guarantee it will remain part of the design after printing.
The back of the card includes an open text option. It allows you to include a standard printed message on every card in the order. Whether you're creating a greeting card, holiday card, thank you card, invitation, or save the date, you can utilize the space on the back of the card differently. It can include a special thank you sentiment, quote, or holiday greeting. Alternatively, if it's an invitation, you can add details like an event itinerary or communicate other important information to guests about the event that would otherwise clutter up the front of the card—details like a schedule or hotel suggestions. You can also leave the back blank, and after printing, you can add handwritten messages for an additional personal touch, especially if you're creating a thank you or holiday card. Once you are happy with your design, message, and layout, we will print your design on our FSC-certified, satin finish 100 lb. paper cardstock.
